The Chinese slowdown has had an evident impact on markets further afield as low-priced material competes with traditional exporters in Turkey, the CIS and domestic producers elsewhere in Asia. Rising production costs will limit further export potential in China, however, and production growth will ease as domestic demand growth nears zero by the end of our forecast period in 2018.
