The Economist Intelligence Unit expects the president，Evo Morales，to secure
a new term in the October 2014 election，helped by vast incumbent benefits
and the strong regional presence of the ruling Movimiento al Socialismo．
The failure of Mr Morales to satisfy the demands of diverse social groups will
continue to fuel public discontent,but high social and infrastructure spending，
as well as strong GDP growth，will boost political stability in 2014—18．
