corruption will limit the ability of the president，Otto Perez Molina of the
right-wing Partido Patriota(PP)．to advance his social and economic agenda．
The government’s overall stance will be pro—business，and economic policies
will remain orthodox．However,a failure tO address the country’s
development needs will sustain the risk of social unrest in 2014—18．
