Inflation is forecast to average 7.1% in 2015-16, but will ease back to an average of 6.9% in 2017-19 as real income growth remains subdued.
After easing to 11.1% of GDP in 2015, the current-account deficit will widen steadily as import growth rebounds to drive up the trade deficit in 2016-19. Foreign investment, aid and lending will provide financing.
