Consumer prices will increase by 1.2% in 2015, as sharp currency depreciation is being offset by cheaper oil imports. Annual average inflation will pick up to 2.2% in 2016, along with global food and oil prices.
Despite higher capital imports and sluggish export growth, falling oil prices mean that the current-account deficit will ease to 5.2% of GDP by 2015, from an estimated 6.6% of GDP in 2014. It will widen to 5.7% of GDP in 2016.
