Political stability will remain under strain following a snap poll on October 5th 2014 in which the centre-right Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) came first but fell well short of an outright majority.
The new government, comprising the CEDB and the centre-right Reformist Bloc (RB), is supported by the nationalist Patriotic Front (PF) and the centre-left Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABR) and may lack a coherent policy.
