GDP growth in fiscal year 2013/14 (October-September) will be 4.5%, driven by output growth from construction, commerce and industry. It will rise to 5.1% in 2014/15, supported also by improved external demand.
The current-account deficit will stay very large, averaging 13% of GDP in 2014-15 as import spending far exceeds exports earnings.
