Robust donor support and administrative reforms will support government revenue growth in 2015-16. This, together with better expenditure controls, will see the fiscal deficit narrow to 3.1% of GDP in 2016.
Despite higher capital imports and sluggish export growth, felling service imports—mainly for security services—mean that the current-account deficit will ease to 5.7% of GDP by 2016, from an estimated 74% of GDP in 2014.
