The Economist Intelligence Unit forecasts that real GDP growth will average 6.9% a year in 2014-18 as the dominant agricultural sector performs well and electricity supply improves.
Growth of both exports and imports will remain rapid, the latter reflecting high demand for capital goods. The current-account deficit will rise to 8.8% of GDP in 2015 but will average 7.7% of GDP a year over the forecast period.
