uncertainty about the succession，as his position is not completely secure．
After a slowdown in GDP growth to 1．2％in 2014．reflecting a deterioration of
Cuba's terms of trade and a fall in nickel output,reforms will help to lift
growth in the medium term to above 4％．
A moderate rise in the current-account deficit is expected in the forecast
period, to average 3% of GDP in 2017-19 as earnings from services exports to
Venezuela decline.
